THE STORY OF SIR GAWAIN (CHAP 3) by HOWARD PYLE

From 1001 Classic Short Stories & Tales Jon Hagadorn

A great story from Howard Pyle's 'King Arthur & His Knights" involving King Arthur's return to the evil knight's castle and his answering the riddle which was given to him to solve, followed by King Arthur's escorting the aged lady back to his kingdom where she could choose any knight she wished to be her husband.
