Dec 16, 2025·—
—
**Discussion begins at 2:35 ** To mark the release of 50 Cent’s new Netflix documentary on Sean “Puff Daddy” Combs, we’re dropping a special super-episode stitched together from five of our most talked-about segments from the past two seasons. In this extended deep dive, we revisit the rumors and allegations that have followed Puff Daddy for decades. We explore everything from the early industry whispers that shaped his rise, to the darker stories that have surfaced in tabloids, civil filings, and jailhouse lore. Of note, these episodes were all recorded prior to the criminal trial, in which he was acquitted of almost all charges and sentenced to 50 months in jail with time served for two counts of transportation for the purpose of prostitution. He continues to face civil charges, with over 100 lawsuits filed and 77 still pending at the time of this release. Send us a text Support the show Theme song by INDA

Dec 9, 2025·—
—
**Discussion begins at 2:45** This week we are re-releasing a listener favorite from season 1, in which we did a deep dive into one of the strangest viral moments of the late 2000s. On August 4, 2009, cameras caught a young woman named Gabriela Rico Jiménez outside a luxury hotel in Mexico, accusing high-profile figures of kidnapping, murder, and even cannibalism. Police led her away on live television, and then she vanished from the public eye entirely. Did Gabriela stumble too close to something powerful? Or is this another case where rumor overtook reality? The Thanksgiving Lies We've Been Told
Nov 25, 2025·—
—
**Discussion begins at 5:10** Today we’re slipping on our coziest sweaters, filling our mugs with something seasonally spiced, and diving head-first into the great American holiday of… misconceptions. Thanksgiving is stuffed with myths, misnomers, and stories that have been reheated so many times they’ve basically turned into folklore. So in this episode, we’re going to carve into some of the most persistent ones. What is the true origin story of the holiday? Did Ben Franklin really campaign for the turkey to be our national bird, or is that just a factoid people like to drop between bites of stuffing? What’s the true, somewhat mystical-sounding origin of the wishbone tradition, and how did we collectively decide to snap poultry anatomy for luck? And of course, pumpkin pie: the beloved dessert that, ironically, is almost never made from actual pumpkin. So settle in, maybe grab a plate of leftovers, and let’s untangle the tall tales hiding behind this very American celebration. Send us a text Support the show Theme song by INDA

The 2025 Louvre Heist
Nov 18, 2025·—
—
**Discussion begins at 3:30** Last month, the Louvre museum’s Galerie d'Apollon was the target of a brazen heist, with four men fleeing with eight pieces of French Crown Jewels valued at over $100 million USD or €88 million. Disguised as construction workers and using a truck-mounted lift, two of the suspects accessed a first-floor window, cut into display cases, and fled via motorbikes with their loot. The heist immediately generated a search for the jewels and suspects, as well as a plethora of other questions. How did the thieves know exactly which window was weak, which display cases to target, and how to orchestrate a clean, rapid escape? Was this an opportunistic crime, or a deliberately orchestrated inside job? Questions also circulated surrounding the lack of surveillance and intrusion protocols despite previous security audits and known vulnerabilities. With key items still missing and suspects only partially cooperating, theories abound - Were the four thieves part of a larger network? And what was the motive? Could this have been a commissioned theft for a private collector, or were the pieces dismantled, recut, and resold with assistance of an underground network? Today we’ll discuss what we know about the Louvre Heist, focusing on the possibilities of a larger conspiracy. Send us a text Support the show Theme song by INDA

Abby Hernandez: Victim or Conspirator?
Nov 11, 2025·—
—
**Discussion beings 9:07** On October 9, 2013, 14 year old Abigail Hernandez disappeared while walking home from school in North Conway, NH – a small town with a population of about 2000. The school librarian reported seeing her walking in the direction of her home at 2:30 PM, and she was not seen again for nine months. While she was missing, her mom never gave up the search for her – convinced that she was alive and being held against her will. Her father on the other hand, claimed that she had likely just runaway. The only sign of life was a letter mailed to her mother, which was received nearly a month after the disappearance – letting her know that she was alive and apologizing for leaving. This letter, as well as the lack of crime in NH, led to the accepted belief amongst the locals that Abby had likely conspired to willingly disappear. The public was outspoken with their disdain for the young girl, and what they perceived to be a drain on finances and resources spent looking for her. It was known that she likely couldn’t have survived on her own - did she have an older boyfriend that she had run away with? Theories had circulated around the school that she had fled due to a teen pregnancy. Conspiracy theories only got worse 9 months later when she walked through the front door of the home she shared with her mom and sister. She was wearing the same clothing she had been wearing when she disappeared. She refused to tell anyone where she had been or what had happened to her. So what really happened in those missing 9 months? Was Abby the victim of a terrible crime? Or the perpetrator of a horrendous conspiracy? Send us a text Support the show Theme song by INDA

Nov 4, 2025·—
—
**Discussion begins at 7:10** The Life and Death Brigade on Gilmore Girls, Chuck Bass being kidnapped by a secret society during a college visit to Yale, Joshua Jackson and Paul Walker joining a dangerous secret society in the 2000 movie The Skulls... These are all pop culture references to one of the most famous secret societies on one of the most elite college campuses in the US. This society, which selects 15 members annually from one of the most exclusive campuses in the world, was allegedly inspired by the Freemasons. It is rumored that after graduation, members known as Bonesmen, are placed in high ranking positions in government, banking, law, education, and intelligence agencies to shape policy after graduation. The 2,600 Patriarchs, or members who have since graduated, include 3 former presidents - President William Taft, George HW Bush, and George W Bush; leaders in business - like the founder of FedEx, founder of Time, Life, and Fortune Magazines, the CEO of Blackstone, and dynasties like the Rockefeller and Ford families; as well was leaders in finance, politicians on the state and federal level, high ranking government advisors, supreme court justices, University professors/presidents, journalists, athletes, and Hollywood stars. The 2004 presidential election actually pitted 2 Patriarchs – George W Bush and John Kerry, against each other, with both refusing to comment when asked about their membership. What are the odds that the last 2 men standing in a battle for leadership of the US are both members of this secret society? Is this secret society really a breeding ground for a powerful network of people that are secretly running the US? Is it a branch of a larger network that with European ties manipulating us from the inside? —
**Discussion beings at 5:10** In the fall of 1888, London was a booming metropolis under economic strain due to the massive influx up immigrants and refugees. Whitechapel, an area in the East End, was an overcrowded neighborhood with poor employment and dire economic conditions. As a result, many women were forced into casual prostitution to survive - and it was many of these women who fell victim to an unknown serial killer lurking in the dark, shadowed alleyways. The killer was named "Jack the Ripper", either a self proclaimed nickname or one coined by the press, but beyond that alias the killer's identity remains a secret even 130 years later. For more than a century, whispers have persisted that the Ripper murders were not the work of a lone madman, but part of a deeper conspiracy. Theories have pointed to royal cover-ups, Masonic plots, and a police force accused of burying the truth. This week, as we approach the end of True Crimeber - we are discussing one last British mystery - the story of Jack the Ripper and the conspiracy theories related to his…or her… potential identity. The Disappearance of Lord Lucan
Oct 14, 2025·—
—
**Discussion begins at 6:30** Lord Lucan, the 7th Earl of Lucan, vanished in 1974 under circumstances so strange they have fueled decades of conspiracy theories. On November 7, his family’s nanny, Sandra Rivett, was brutally murdered, and his estranged wife, Veronica, survived a violent attack. While police named Lucan as the prime suspect, he disappeared without a trace that night, leaving behind a cryptic note to his mother and hints that he might have planned his escape. Some theorists suggest that Lucan didn’t just flee—he orchestrated a perfect vanishing act, using his wealth, aristocratic connections, and meticulous planning to vanish from the public eye and start a new life abroad. The mythos of Lord Lucan continues to grow because there is no closure. No body, no confirmed sightings, no final confession—just endless speculation. Lucan was declared legally dead in 1999, 25 years after his disappearance, though conspiracy theories about his survival persist. Send us a text Support the show Theme song by INDA

**Discussion begins at 5:00** On Christmas Eve, 1945, tragedy struck the Sodder family home in Fayetteville, West Virginia. A fire destroyed the house — but five of the children were never found. Authorities ruled the blaze accidental, yet no bones, remains, or evidence of the children were ever recovered. A Look into the Viral Tik Tok Allegations Against Helen Keller
Sep 16, 2025·—
—
**Discussion begins at 4:15** Helen Keller was born June 27, 1880 in Tuscumbia, Alabama, to a prominent family. While the family was well off, much of their wealth was lost during the Civil War, and they lived rather modestly. At 19 months, Helen became ill with a high fever due to what many presume to be Scarlet Fever, resulting in loss of eyesight and hearing. As she grew up, she was frustrated and unruly, prompting her parents to write to the Perkins School for the Blind to request help. The school sent Anne Sullivan, a 20 year old graduate of the school who suffered serious vision problems. Anne removed Helen from the home for a few weeks and the two lived in a cottage where Anne taught Helen to communicate with her hands. Over the next several years, Helen learned to read and write. Anne Sullivan remained Helen’s companion until her death, even helping her to earn a BA in 1904 from Radcliffe College, the female sister school of Harvard. Helen Keller went on to write over a dozen books, including an autobiography which went on to be adapted into The Miracle Worker. She also campaigned for social causes like women’s suffrage, labor rights, world peace, and was also a vocal advocate for those with disabilities. She was also a pacifist, a supporter of female birth control, and…. a eugenics supporter! She was a member of the Socialist Party and a founding member of the ACLU. S he worked for the American Foundation for the Blind for over 40 years, influencing policy and public perceptions of disability worldwide, and traveled to more than 35 countries to promote education and accessibility. She died in 1961 after suffering a series of strokes, and was celebrated posthumously… Until 2020 when hashtags like #helenkellerisfake and #helenkellerisoverparty started trending on Tik Tok. Conspiracy theorists claimed that Helen Keller either didn’t exist, wasn’t truly deaf and blind, or didn’t accomplish the things she’s famous for—from writing books to earning a degree or speaking publicly. Some videos even suggested she “faked” her disabilities or that her teacher Anne Sullivan was pulling the strings behind the scenes. What started out as satire quickly came to be believed as truth by many. But what is the truth? Send us a text Support the show Theme song by INDA

Rafael Pacheco Pérez: The Real Story of the Pilot Possessed by Aliens
Sep 12, 2025·—
—
**Discussion begins at 2:22** On June 21, 1976, Rafael Pacheco Pérez, a student pilot at the Escuela de Aviación México, embarked on a solo training flight from Mexico City to Chimalhuacán. Shortly after takeoff, he vanished from radar, and an hour later, reappeared over Acapulco—approximately three hours in the opposite direction of his intended destination. The aircraft, designed for short flights, was low on fuel and not equipped for such a journey. During communication with air traffic control, Pacheco's voice reportedly became altered, delivering a message from an entity claiming to be using him as a "microphone" to transmit a message. The message conveyed that the beings were from the same universe, observing humanity, and warned of an impending global catastrophe if humanity did not change. Upon landing, Pacheco appeared disoriented and was taken for a medical evaluation. Despite being tested for intoxication, he was found to be in perfect health, with no drugs or alcohol in his system. But what is the truth behind one of Mexico's most popular aviation mysteries? Was the pilot truly possessed by extraterrestrial creatures trying to save humanity, and if so were they able to break the time space continuum? Was he suffering from a Menty-B? Was it all a hoax perpetrated by the pilot? Or is this just another urban legend to debunk? Send us a text Support the show Theme song by INDA

The Lake Baikal Swimmers
Jul 22, 2025·—
—
**Discussion begins at 5:15** In the 1970s and 80s, the USSR had a dedicated branch of the navy researching “anomalous phenomena”, which used Soviet submarines to track USOs in the Black Sea, the Baltic Sea, Lake Baikal, and the Arctic Ocean. These objects allegedly moved at impossible speeds, changed directions instantly, and were seen emerging from or diving into the water without creating splash disturbances. Then, in 2009, a number of documents related to the USSR research into UFOs/USOs revealed the story of the Lake Baikal swimmers. There were declassified reports that 7 Navy divers on a training mission in Lake Blaikal, the world’s oldest and deepest lake, had encountered mysterious humanoid beings underwater. These figures, which came to be known as the Baikal Swimmers, were 9-10 feet tall, wearing tight silver suits with umbrella like helmets on their heads, but lacked scuba gear or breathing apparati. The divers told their superiors who instructed them to capture one. The divers again made contact with these acquatic beings, but failed to capture one as a sudden and powerful force allegedly repelled them. As a result, the divers all were propelled to the surface and leading them all to suffer from decompression sickness. Three of the divers died as a result. But what were the swimmers really? Extraterrestrial? Unknown sea creature? – perhaps one of the many species endemic only to Lake Baikal.. Or is this another urban legend gone viral? Send us a text Support the show Theme song by INDA

The Death of the Original Superman, George Reeves
Jul 1, 2025·—
—
**Discussion begins at 5:00** Before there was Henry Cavill, Tom Welling, Dean Cain, or Christopher Reeve… there was the OG Superman… George Reeves was an actor in the 1930s, who’s burgeoning career stalled when he enlisted in WW2. After the war he struggled to find parts, and in need of money, he begrudgingly accepted the role of Superman in the television series Adventures of Superman. The show was a hit, but led to type casting. As a result, he had difficulty being taken seriously for other acting opportunities. Off-screen, Reeves' personal life was tumultuous. He had a long-term affair with Toni Mannix, the wife of MGM executive Eddie Mannix, and later became engaged to a younger woman, Leonore Lemmon. These overlapping relationships, combined with career frustrations and financial stress, ultimately led to him being found dead of a a gunshot wound to the head in his Beverly Hills home on June 16, 1959 – a home his former girlfriend Toni had bought him. Was it suicide, as is listed as the official cause of death? The death was never adequately investigated, and there were discrepancies in the scene. Witnesses in the house gave conflicting stories, there were delays in calling the police, and multiple bullet holes were reportedly found in the room. Additionally, Reeves’ fingerprints were not found on the gun, and some friends claimed he was in good spirits in the days leading up to his death. Who had motive? Was it his fiancée - annoyed by his behavior that night and frustrated that he wasn't committed to getting married? Was it his ex, Toni Mannix, who was heartbroken and had been stalking the engaged couple to the point that he had attempted to obtain a restraining order? Or was it her husband, Eddie Mannix who was to blame? After all, he had mob and police connections as the VP of MGM, and was tired of hearing his wife obsess over George.
