A Memorial Podcast Service Honoring Sister Lora’s Legacy

Fan Mail

A dream can die twice: once when circumstances shut it down, and again when grief convinces you it will never return. We’re sharing why “Let’s Have Church” is coming back now as a memorial podcast service honoring my sister Lora, and why the purpose stays crystal clear: lifting up the name of Jesus Christ. If you’ve been carrying loss, postponing a calling, or trying to make sense of timing, you’ll hear a story that treats faith as something lived, not just said.

We talk about how the idea started after our mother’s passing in January 2020, when Lora and I planned a simple, one-service recording just to “have church.” Cancer weakened her body, and the plan had to be put off. After Lora died, I was shattered and couldn’t move forward. Years later, God put the vision back on my heart, and I finally understand it as both remembrance and responsibility: not lifting up my sister as an idol, but keeping her legacy of worship alive by pointing listeners back to the Lord.

You’ll also hear who is joining this series of separate church service podcast recordings, including Pastor Tammie Watson and her team, and Minister Elder Davis and his team, people who knew Lora and share that same commitment to prayer and praise. We also speak openly about fasting, prayer, and the behind-the-scenes support from radio stations, podcasters, YouTubers, and designers who are helping us spread the word.

If this encouraged you, subscribe so you don’t miss the upcoming services, share the episode with someone who needs hope, and leave a review telling us what “having church” means to you.
