The 2nd best GAA campaign, Schmidt’s Ulster move & Infantino at it again!? | Morning Papers | OFF THE BALL BREAKFAST

It’s a jam-packed edition of The Morning Papers, starting with a deep dive into the growing FIFA storm as UEFA call a meeting over Gianni Infantino’s plan to sell stakes in the World Cup — and the big question: what does it mean for the FAI, their debt, and the future football calendar?

The lads also react to the latest Irish sporting headlines, including more brilliance from Kate O’Connor on the track.

Plus, Joe Schmidt is back in Irish rugby in a new Ulster role, and there’s a revealing chat with former Munster back Andrew Smith on injuries, missed chances, and what last season’s atmosphere was really like inside the camp.

Finally, we open a debate around who actually had the second-best year in Gaelic football... behind Mayo, of course.
