IAN MACHADO GARRY: 'Being a dad is more important...' | OFF THE BALL

Ian Machado Garry joins Off The Ball's Matt Brennan in Dublin for an up-close chat with Irish fans, signing photos and talking about what it means to represent Ireland every time he steps into the octagon.

He opens up on signing with Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Talent Agency, why he wants a bigger platform across Ireland, the UK and Europe, and how his journey from Gaelic football, hurling, judo and boxing shaped his MMA game.

With a world title shot on August 15th against pound-for-pound number one Islam Makhachev, Garry explains why “to be the best, you have to beat the best” — and why being a dad matters more than any belt.
