Boxing's Adam Smith on Irish boxing’s big Dublin run - 'Boxing is a religion here!' | OFF THE BALL

Adam Smith, the “voice of boxing”, joins Matthew Brennan for a quick chat from the Button factory as Irish boxing gears up for a massive run of fight nights in Dublin.

He looks ahead to Saturday’s bill, why Pierce O’Leary is leading the next wave, and what danger Mark Chamberlain brings as a live underdog coming into the lion’s den.

Plus, Smith reflects on the scale of Katie Taylor’s long-awaited Croke Park night on September 5th — the emotion, the legacy, and the pressure of getting the job done — and there’s a fun aside on Prince Naseem, Brendan Ingle, and the next generation on the card.
