I'm 1:15 I'm very cheerful because I'm heading out for vacation with my kids as soon 1:19 as I'm done recording this. Hey it's a quick bonus episode with what is 1:23 It's becoming, it's almost like Batman and Joker. 1:27 This is the nemesis apparently. 1:30 We're gonna do a little James Taylor eco thing. 1:32 This may be the last one, this is gonna be really fun. 1:34 And very interesting, because there is a play 1:37 that's getting run on Christians 1:40 that like, I'd say like 90% of people are falling for 1:42 and you have no idea the play's getting run use. 1:45 This is gonna be really fun. 1:46 Hey, these bonus episodes are, 1:48 they are straight, they are a lot of extra work. 1:50 So as always, if this is helpful to you 1:53 and you would like to signal to us, 1:55 hey, this is helpful, please keep doing them. 1:57 You can like, comment, or share a special on YouTube. 2:00 We actually do review all the comments 2:02 and likes and shares and stuff, 2:03 and so that will help us know that it was helpful 2:06 and it will incentivize us 2:08 because we will feel like the juice is worth the squeeze. 2:10 Okay, now, without further ado, 2:13 let's do our fourth episode on James Salarico. 2:16 Okay, now, really quick, 2:19 let me go ahead and just jump right in. 2:21 Right now what's really interesting is I'm realizing that a lot of political 2:28 leaders we've gotten messages and from people behind the scenes and public 2:32 shares that kind of thing we're starting to realize that political leaders 2:35 journalists at some honestly some pretty high levels they're watching our stuff 2:41 especially on James Salarico because and I'm as you're gonna see in a 2:44 second what this guy is doing is he's not primarily deceiving people from a 2:49 political lane. He's a politician that's primarily deceiving people from a 2:52 theological lane. And so what I'm noticing is a lot of politicians and 2:56 political commentators, they don't know how to handle sort of the theological 3:01 lane. And so, man, it's actually encouraging. People are watching our 3:04 stuff to help understand what's going on. So here's what I'll say. I have 3:08 never done this before in the history of Live Free, but in light of how 3:12 close we're getting to midterms and because of that reality, honestly, 3:17 If I'm gonna ask you to help share and help get word out to spread this because bro 3:23 This play that he runs in this interview. He did with Jimmy Kimmel right here 3:28 It's already got 13 million views in a pretty short amount of time 3:33 And I'll shoot you straight if you're just a normal Christian like new to your Bible 3:38 You'll hear what he says right here. And bro, you're gonna take the bait 3:42 So help us get word out. That'd be awesome. Here's also why this is really important 3:45 I'm gonna go and show this, yeah, right there. 3:49 This right here. 3:50 So as of most recent data that I'm aware of, 3:55 right now Polymarket is showing that James Tolerico 3:58 is trending at a just above 50% chance to win in Texas. 4:04 And what's happening right now, 4:06 that's why this is important. 4:08 What's happening right now is false teachers. 4:10 I'm gonna show you this in this clip 4:12 that this is not me being hyperbolic. 4:14 it's not me overstating the case that what's happening is false teachers in some ways they're 4:19 moving out of pulpits and into politics and I don't I don't mean to you know sound like a 4:26 jerk honestly because a great number of pastors have an internal commitment to quote-unquote stay 4:32 out of politics so it's almost like team Satan figured out well if we move the false teachers 4:37 from the pulpits to politics the pastors want to pose them we're going to break that rule 4:41 right here. So now, what I'm getting ready to show you is about a two-minute clip, James Salarico 4:45 on Jimmy Kimmel, again, 13 million views. Let me just set something up and then dive right in, 4:51 because I'll shoot you straight. I do get this a lot, and we have thousands of pastors who are 4:56 realizing they'll listen to these things, and pastors get this toss out in their churches. 5:00 Here's what people say when I do this. They say, when they say this thing, 5:05 It honestly incites almost like a subtle rage in May, me, because we're like, 5:11 hey man, pastors should stay out of politics. You're getting political. And I 5:18 just want to keep saying the same thing. No, the church isn't getting more 5:22 political. Politics are getting more theological and spiritual. As you're 5:28 going to see in this clip, when politicians move past things like 5:32 Like teaching math, building roads, and issuing driver's licenses and building permits. 5:37 And into things like redefining marriage, erasing gender, max-boosting infant murder, 5:43 and then cheering it as reproductive rights, and then using the government school system 5:47 to indoctrinate everybody's kids into believing those things. 5:50 Hey y'all, church did move. 5:53 Politicians did. 5:54 So listen, I would have to disobey Jesus in order to not oppose the things this 6:01 dude is saying because we are command to quote, contend for the faith once and for all delivered 6:06 to the saints. We are going to apply the entire word of God to the issues in the entire world. 6:13 We are going to do that unapologetically. So I'll just keep saying the same thing. When you 6:17 say, hey man, just stay out of politics. Stay quiet. You're getting political. Don't mess 6:21 with this stuff. My response is no, no. I will not stand passively by while evil advances 6:29 and watch the societal inheritance that I'm going to hand my children, grandchildren, 6:33 and future church in America get much, much worse. 6:37 And then 60 years from now, I'm going to have great grandkids that look back and go, 6:40 man, why didn't Papal try to do anything? 6:42 I'm not going to do that. 6:44 In fact, what I'd say is part of how we got where we are right now 6:47 is because some pastors decided to, quote, 6:50 I'm not going to get political. 6:52 So instead, what we're going to do is 1 Corinthians 16-13. 6:54 We're going to be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, 6:57 be strong and let all we do be done in love. 7:01 Took a generation of Christian statesmen 7:03 to found this nation and it will take a generation 7:06 of Christian statesmen to preserve it and to save it. 7:09 So that being said, here we go. 7:12 All right, let's go. 7:15 James Tellerico, Jimmy Kimball, 7:17 you're about to see the play 7:19 that is getting run on you and it's probably working. 7:22 So without further ado, here we go. 7:25 I've been following you for a long time. 7:27 I've been watching your videos. 7:28 I think what you're doing is great. 7:29 I really do. And you've hit on something that I think is very, it resonated with me because 7:35 you hit on something, it used to be on all of the bumper stickers. It would be what would 7:38 Jesus do? And I think Jesus has been co-opted by this maga enterprise in this way that is, 7:47 it makes no sense when you really think about it. Would Jesus be throwing people into vans 7:52 and separating them from their children? Would Jesus be taking kids off food stamps? 7:56 These are not, this is not the Jesus that I learned 7:59 about growing up. 8:00 Okay, now let's start right here 8:02 because dude this is where they start to really end, okay? 8:05 First of all, he says that Jesus has been quote unquote 8:08 co-opted by the Maga Empire. 8:11 Now I wanna say two things that may seem like 8:13 I'm saying two different things, 8:14 but there's a balance here. 8:15 One, acknowledging the simple and very straightforward 8:20 reality and this kind of thing when a pastor says it, 8:22 I'm gonna warn you if you're a pastor, 8:23 there's some things when you say 8:24 and people cheer like you're a hero, 8:25 there's some things when you're saying people pound you like an ale. This is the second one. 8:29 Just acknowledging the simple and straightforward reality that one of the political parties in our 8:35 country, one of their publicly stated policy proposals, has a moral asymmetry to the other 8:44 parties, publicly stated policy proposals. Saying that and then responding to that 8:50 reality in a straightforward way is not quote unquote co-opting Jesus. It's just not. It's just 8:56 acknowledging a moral asymmetry between the publicly stated proposed policies of the parties. 9:03 I say this all the time. If you struggle with what I'm about to say, honestly all you gotta do 9:07 is just go to the RNC's website and look at their publicly stated policy proposals 9:13 proposals, and then go to the DNC's website and go to their publicly stated policy proposals. 9:20 And I think last time I checked on one of their websites you'll see six things, a minimum 9:24 of six things, that are national sins that one party is trying to legislate in our nation. 9:32 And very frankly, on the other party's website, even though their policy proposals 9:36 might not be perfect, there are zero. 9:39 So, acknowledging that simple reality is not quote-unquote co-opting Jesus for the Maga 9:44 Empire. 9:44 It's just not, okay? 9:45 Now, on the other hand, I do just need to say this, in a straightforward way, when you 9:50 take Christian theology and Christian ethics and a Christian understanding of a biblical 9:55 system of governance, it is simply going to quote-unquote code conservative in 10:00 2026 America. 10:01 It's going to code that way, but here's your watch out. 10:04 every Christian everywhere has to make sure you are a disciple of Jesus first 10:08 and a quote-unquote conservative second so you got to make a choice am I a 10:13 Christian conservative or am I a conservative Christian does the 10:17 Christian stand in authority over the conservative and critique that or are 10:21 you a person who actually starts switching allegiances and a quote-unquote 10:25 conservative thing is an authority over the Jesus thing and you're a 10:28 conservative first and a Christian second at wrong do not pass go do not 10:32 collect $200, Jesus first and everything second, let God be true and every man a 10:38 liar. Okay, now let me just also say this. So the second thing he said, man, is would 10:42 Jesus be throwing kids in vans, food stamps? This is not the Jesus I learned 10:46 growing up. Now, let me foreshadow, listen bro, this is a bomb. When you see 10:52 what I'm gonna say later in the episode, you'll never be able to 10:56 unsee it and you're gonna see it everywhere. So let me set up what I'm 10:58 explained later. So he goes, man, this is not the Jesus I learned about 11:01 grown up, okay? Let me point something out to you. He's talking about the enforcement of laws, 11:08 okay? So throwing kids in fans and immigration stuff, okay? He's talking about the enforcement 11:15 of laws. Did Jesus command the government to take kids off food stamps, okay? Now, 11:19 if you boil a lot of this down, what they're essentially saying is Jesus would never do anything 11:24 that would make someone sad, and Jesus would never enforce laws if it made somebody sad, 11:30 and Jesus would obviously be for socialistic forced redistribution of 11:34 wealth policies. I just want to point this out. Jesus commanded the death 11:40 penalty. Jesus inspired the entire Bible. The Bible says that Jesus is 11:43 quote-unquote the word become flesh. So Jesus commanded the death penalty. 11:49 Jesus inspired the first Thessalonians verse, if a man will not work he shall 11:53 not eat. And Jesus is the one who quote instituted the government to 11:57 to quote, bear the sword Romans 13. 11:59 So we need a bigger vision of Jesus 12:02 than cherry picking things that have red letters on them. 12:05 Okay, now watch what he does next. 12:08 And this is where you're gonna see like, 12:09 this is the play that gets run on you. 12:11 Okay, check this out. 12:12 And you bring it right back to the Bible, 12:14 to the real teachings of Jesus. 12:16 And it is very authentic. 12:19 I mean, you can feel it 12:20 that you know what you're talking about, 12:22 that you believe what you're talking about. 12:24 And I think that is so very powerful and good for you for doing that. 12:30 I appreciate that. 12:31 Listen, okay. 12:33 Now listen, this is so interesting. 12:35 He's, watch, this is the play, this is getting run on you, I'm going to explain it later. 12:39 So Jimmy Kimmel looks at a politician who claims to be a Christian, a guy that's taking 12:45 his Bible, opening it, reading Bible verses, and then saying, on the basis of these 12:49 Bible verses, I'm advancing these policies. 12:51 Jimmy Kimmel looks at that guy and says, 12:54 good for you for doing it. 12:56 And his primarily progressive audience erupts in applause. 13:02 Now, that's very interesting because I've been reliably informed 13:07 for the last three years that Christians trying to enact policies 13:12 based on the Bible was evil Christian nationalism. 13:16 I thought it was wrong to force your biblical beliefs 13:20 on other people and that it's definitely wrong. Actually, it's impossible, but it's definitely 13:25 wrong. I've been reliably told for three years to quote unquote, legislate morality. But now, 13:32 all of a sudden, that's met with erupt applause. There's a play getting run on you that you don't 13:42 realize is getting run on you. And we're going to come back to that in like two minutes, 13:47 but you have to see it. 13:49 And once you see it, you will see it everywhere. 13:52 Okay, now, let's keep going, man. 13:54 You know, I think it was Reverend Raphael Warnock 13:59 who said that Jesus Christ 14:00 is the most famous victim of identity theft. 14:04 That the kind of religion... 14:07 Now, I just want to point this out. 14:08 First of all, we need to have the ability 14:11 to evaluate right and wrong and not only see wrong. 14:14 First of all... Wait, listen, watch what he says. 14:17 I'll do it. He said Raphael and Warnock who by the way that's another like that's not a great source wolves traveling packs 14:24 He says Jesus is the greatest victim of identity theft. Can I just say something? 14:28 He's right and Christians need to be very careful from this 14:31 I'm gonna read you a Bible verse people don't think about very often 14:34 But think about that phrase Jesus is the greatest identity of of identity theft or victim of identity theft second Corinthians 11 3 and 4 says this 14:43 for if someone comes and proclaims, listen, another Jesus. 14:50 So it's warning, hey, watch out guys, 14:53 because all throughout Christian history, 14:56 people are gonna come along 14:57 and they'll say they're teaching Jesus. 15:00 They're gonna use the same word, 15:01 but they're gonna use a different dictionary. 15:02 They're gonna say they're teaching Jesus, 15:05 but they're gonna fill sort of this vessel 15:08 of the word of Jesus with a different definition, 15:11 a different identity, a different character, 15:13 a different set of doctrines inside of that vessel, 15:16 and they're gonna trick you and get you to drink 15:19 from the cup of, quote, another Jesus, Paul says, 15:23 from the one repreclaimed, 15:24 or if you receive a different spirit 15:26 from the one you received, 15:27 or if you accept a different gospel, 15:29 you're gonna hear that in just a second, 15:31 from the one you accepted, 15:32 you put up with it readily enough. 15:34 Now, that's true, but watch this. 15:37 What some people will say about progressives 15:40 is they'll say that with with progressives, every accusation is a confession. In other words, 15:46 what they can sometimes do is just walk around and accuse everyone else of doing exactly what 15:52 they're doing. And very frankly, that's what James Tallarico does. Okay, they're accusing you of 15:59 doing what they're doing, which is kind of confusing. And then they're hoping you won't 16:04 notice. Now listen, watch what he does next. Okay, now I'm gonna reverse a little bit so 16:07 you can see here is all sentence. 16:09 You can treat people however you want. 16:11 The kind of religion that says you can treat people 16:15 however you want, as long as you have a personal 16:18 relationship with Jesus is an abomination. 16:21 It is a cancer on the body of Christ. 16:24 True. 16:25 Now let me just pause and say true, 16:27 because if you don't understand, 16:28 C.S. Lewis very wisely said this. 16:30 If you read the Chronicles in Arnea, 16:31 he says it in the seventh book, 16:32 I believe the last battle. 16:34 Lewis said, by mixing a little, 16:36 By mixing a little truth with it, they had made the lie far stronger. 16:42 By mixing a little truth with it, they had made the lie far stronger. 16:47 That's what Talerico is a master at. 16:51 Okay, so game respects game, credit where it's due. 16:54 Now, so he says the kind of religion says you can treat people however you want, 16:57 and it doesn't matter, it's an abomination, it's a cancer by the Christ. 17:00 First of all, every Christian everywhere needs to say true. 17:04 James chapter 2. Terrifying verse. What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone 17:12 claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? In other words, there's a way 17:19 for someone to have a type of faith that they think is a saving faith. And it's not. It's a 17:27 counterfeit faith that will actually lead you to hell. Very dangerous, the other way says. 17:31 It says, James 2.15, suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. 17:37 If one of, now listen real close, it says, if one of you, now I'm going to cede something 17:44 we're going to come back to later in the episode, it doesn't say if a government. 17:49 It says, if one of you says to them, go in peace, keep warm and well fed, but does 17:56 nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? 18:00 in the same way faith by itself if it is not accompanied by action is dead. So I 18:09 will issue a warning and especially if you're a person who maybe has just like 18:13 very gently let your conservative overtake the Lordship of your Christianity 18:19 in your life. Okay let me just give you a warning from book of James. If you 18:24 You say that you love God and hate people, you don't love God because people are made 18:30 in the image of God. 18:32 And so anyone that loves God will love the people made in his image. 18:36 That's true. 18:38 So heads up. 18:39 There's like one teach James two in one sentence. 18:41 If the type of quote unquote faith you have doesn't result in good for your neighbor, 18:48 that faith will not be any good for you on the day of judgment. 18:53 So if you say you love God and don't love people made in his image, you got a fake faith. 18:57 Okay, now back to what originally said, true, but here's why this becomes very deceptive in this interview with Kimmel. 19:04 Okay, check this out. 19:06 By mixing a little truth with it, he had made the lie far stronger. 19:09 So here's what's going on. 19:10 I like the bass fish. 19:11 So like, watch, you're going to see it in this next little segment. 19:15 Okay, when you're bass fishing, what you do is you take a little lure or a little bait, you know, 19:19 you know, a little, looks like a little dead minnow, 19:23 whatever it is, just looks real juicy. 19:26 And you put a little hook in it, 19:28 and you try to dangle it right in front of, you know, 19:30 Billy Bass's big old mouth, and he looks at it, 19:33 and it looks really, really nice. 19:34 He gets these big old bass eyes. 19:36 He looks at it, he's like, man, that looks so good. 19:38 He just mesmerized, oh, it just looks so good. 19:41 It looks so good. 19:42 I should definitely accept that. 19:44 And then as soon as he clamps down on that thing 19:46 that looks really good, and like he should accept it, 19:48 There's a this sharp hook hidden underneath and it's like boom gotcha 19:53 So if I can get you to accept the thing that looks real juicy and good 19:57 Just kind of makes you get all glassy eyed then boom set the hook gotcha 20:03 That's what Talarico is a master 20:05 Bro, this guy's a master at this guy 20:08 He's a master it get like he'll use these Bible verses and every Christian sort of 20:13 transfixed little Jedi knight thing on him and it looks really good and any good mature 20:18 Christians like yeah man I want to love my neighbor of course mad at that of course sounds 20:23 really nice if you accept it without discernment boom sharp hook underneath he's gotcha all right 20:30 now check check this out so there was the debate here comes the hook watch this scripture tells 20:37 us that you can't love God and hate other people you can't love God and abuse the immigrant 20:43 You can't love God and oppress the poor. 20:46 You can't love God and bully the outcast. 20:50 Yes, all that is like, yes, yes. 20:52 But watch, watch, yes, but that's not what we're doing. 20:56 Watch, enforcing immigration laws is not abusing the immigrant. 21:02 Opposing socialism at the state level is not oppressing the poor. 21:08 Opposing transgenderism and the legislation of queer theory 21:11 is not quote bullying the outcast. 21:14 So what this guy does, he's a master at it, 21:16 a master deceiver, is he'll take phrases 21:21 that you agree with and he'll fill those phrases 21:23 with meanings you don't agree with. 21:26 And because you only see the phrase 21:27 on the outside without discernment, 21:29 you end up taking the whole thing in. 21:30 So here's the example, I'm gonna show you this. 21:33 He's doing selective editing. 21:34 So if you're on YouTube, watch what I'm doing with my hands, 21:37 he's got the evil thing he wants you to accept 21:39 over here and with his selective editing he's going look over here look over here 21:43 look over here so you won't notice this okay so watch I can do my own you can't 21:50 love God and list two but he's doing the look over here look over here look over 21:54 here so you won't see what he's got in his hand over here so here's my you 21:57 can't love God and list that I don't think James would like very much you 22:01 can't love God and advocate for max-boosting infant murder you can't 22:06 You can't love God and redefine marriage that God designed. 22:10 You can't love God and queer God's identity by saying God is non-binary. 22:16 You can't love God and legislate national sin against God's commands. 22:22 You can't love God and tell people he made white that they must, quote-unquote, repent 22:26 of their whiteness. 22:28 You can't love God and call teaching his word to children, quote, deeply immoral. 22:33 You can't love God and tell people things that, if believed, will send them to an 22:37 eternity apart from God in hell. Those are all things that he does. But he holds 22:41 them over here and goes, look over here, look over here, look over here, so you 22:44 won't notice what he's got in his other hand. Okay, so check this out dude, you 22:47 gotta get this. What progressive, what progressive Christians do is they'll 22:51 hollow out your religion and wear it like a skin suit. Okay, so they'll 22:55 ignore all the commands in the Bible they don't like. They'll find just a 22:59 few Bible verses they can twist into sounding like they support political 23:03 progressivism and then it's like they cover themselves up with those twisted 23:08 verses so you won't see what they're doing underneath which is what you're 23:12 about to see next. We spend so much time looking for God out there that we 23:19 miss God in the person sitting right next to us in that neighbor who bears 23:25 the divine image. I was brought up to believe that in the face of a 23:29 neighbor, we glimpse the face of God. 23:32 That's true. 23:33 Matthew 25 tells us Christians exactly how we're going to be 23:37 judged and how we're going to be saved. 23:40 Now notice, I'm going to go ahead and give this to you. 23:42 It shows us exactly how we are going to be judged. 23:48 It's not about how human government is going to be 23:50 judged. 23:51 It's about how individuals will be judged when they stand 23:53 before Jesus Christ. 23:54 We're coming back to that. 23:55 by feeding the hungry, by healing the sick, 23:59 by welcoming the stranger. 24:01 Whoopsie daisy. 24:02 Okay, yes. 24:03 That is how we will be judged. 24:06 It is not talking about God's design 24:08 for the role of human governments, okay? 24:11 Now again, there's a concept that we go back to. 24:14 Kaasan Lufri, if you're a Christian, listen, 24:18 you've got to get really good at not just looking 24:20 into your Bible like a mirror 24:22 So you can see your sin where you strayed from the Lord and repent and come back to Jesus 24:27 The Bible is not just a mirror 24:29 We also have to get great at using the Bible as a lens through which we view the rest of the world 24:35 This was this results in in a need for something called discernment like you got to get really good at this 24:42 There's a biblical concept that is constantly swirling underneath conversations that Christians don't understand 24:48 So this is a concept we go back to a lot on live free 24:51 I'm going to show you how it works and apply it in a different way real quick. 24:54 So it's called Khyperian Sphere Sovereignty. 24:55 By a guy named Abraham Khyper, he's kind of put the best words to it. 24:59 What he pointed out is in the Bible, God established three institutions that when working 25:04 properly in obedience to God's commands, in the lanes that God has assigned to them, 25:09 when they work together improperly, it results in human flourishing and the good 25:13 of people and societies and families. 25:15 Those three institutions are the family, the church, and the state. 25:18 So now let's take it a layer deeper. 25:20 Whatever. 25:20 What you're going to notice is that the Bible distinguishes very clearly, I'm going to show 25:24 you this, between the role of the individual and the role of the state. 25:29 Now if you're like, oh, wait a second, Josh, what are you talking about? 25:31 So for instance, Jesus forbids individuals to, quote, live by the sword in Matthew 26, 25:39 but he commands governments to, quote, bear the sword in Romans 13, interesting. 25:45 interesting. The Bible commands individuals and disciples to love the sojourner all throughout 25:51 the Bible. But that same God blessed a government building a wall to protect its borders from 25:58 an invasion of sojourners in the book of Nehemiah. The same Bible commands individuals to feed 26:04 the poor with no caveats. Christians are commanded to be people who everywhere we 26:13 go. We see the last, the lost, the least, and the lonely, and we 26:17 generously and sacrificially pour ourselves out to bless 26:22 them. The Bible commands individuals and disciples 26:26 and churches to feed the poor. And that same Bible commands 26:31 a church government in 1 Thessalonians saying if a man 26:35 will not work, he shall not eat. Now how in the world can 26:38 all those things be true without any contradiction? 26:40 William Sal, because the Bible distinguishes between the role of the individual and the 26:45 role of the state. Now let me take this back to Talarico. What progressive Christians do, 26:50 again, they're going to hollow out your religion and wear it like a skin suit. What they do 26:52 is they want the government to do the role of the individual, so charity, compassion, empathy. 26:59 They want the government to do the role of the individual and they want nobody to do the 27:03 role of the government. Enforce justice biblically defined. It's really important to biblically 27:08 to find justice equal weights and measures. 27:11 To be a quote terror to the wrongdoer. 27:14 That's the role of the government in Romans 13. 27:16 So what progressive Christians do is they want the government to do the role of the 27:20 individual and they want nobody to do the role of the government, which leads me to 27:24 the grand finale. 27:26 So at the beginning of this episode I told you, there's a play the bro is getting 27:30 run on you day and night and you don't know the plays getting run on you. 27:35 And if you don't realize it you're gonna be the football defense where the the the opposing offense keeps 27:41 Running their full back over the exact same linebacker over and over and over or the same 27:46 Oh linemen over and over and over and they keep getting seven yards on the play. Well. Hey, bro 27:50 If you keep seeing that happen 27:53 reposition your linebacker 27:55 You need to understand the play that's getting run on you so you can have the biblical discernment to go 28:00 Oh, well, that's how I combat that lie that what you're about to see is 28:04 master deception. This is amazing. I often wonder what would Jesus do if he visited 28:13 the U.S. Senate? I think he would tell the senators on the floor. Listen dude, I'm 28:22 almost in awe. The deception right here is brilliant. Brilliant. Listen close. 28:29 What if Jesus came to the United States Senate? What would he do? What would he 28:34 do watch. Depart from me. For I was hungry and you cut my food 28:39 assistance. I was sick and you kicked me off Medicaid. I was a 28:44 stranger and you deported me and my family. And then I think he 28:49 would flip over those fancy desks on the floor of the US 28:53 Senate and demand that we take care of all of our neighbors, 28:56 especially the least of these 28:58 thunderous applause, thunderous applause. Now listen, 29:01 and what's going on. 29:03 Now here we go. 29:04 Now wait just a second, hold on there, Skippy. 29:07 Because you're, dude, this is masterful, okay? 29:11 This guy's whole campaign for over two years. 29:16 I think we were the first podcast to pick up on this guy 29:19 when he did the Rogan interview. 29:21 This guy's whole campaign for two to three years 29:25 has been opposing evil Christian nationalism. 29:30 So, for three years, this guy's been looking at Bible-believing evangelical Christians and politicians 29:37 going, hey man, you can't legislate morality. You can't force your beliefs on other people who 29:43 don't share them. That's evil Christian nationalism. Okay, here's what the play that's getting run on 29:48 yet. Okay, when the Bible is used to advance a quote-unquote conservative cause, it's evil 29:56 Christian nationalism, ba-ba-ba-ba. But as you just saw, when the Bible is used to 30:03 advance a quote-unquote progressive cause, thunderous applause. Aw, shucks. This is 30:11 Talereek. Aw, shucks. It's just me being Christ-like. I'm just, I'm just speaking 30:14 truth to power. I'm flipping tables like Jesus. Why do y'all got to be so mean? 30:18 Okay. That guy's whole campaign is this. Christian nationalism for me, but not for 30:27 thee. Okay. Now, what that guy's doing, here's what you're seeing. Exactly what 30:33 he accused other people of doing at the very beginning of this episode, the 30:38 identity theft of Jesus Christ. This dude is doing exactly what he accused 30:44 everybody else is doing at the beginning. Every accusation is a confession, okay? 30:50 So check this out. What he does is he selectively edits Jesus until Jesus becomes a mascot for his 30:58 cause. So here's my point. He's going, what would Jesus do if he came into the Senate? 31:04 When Jesus saw this, here's what he would do. When Jesus sees this, here's what he would do. 31:08 When Jesus would encounter this, here's definitely what he would do. Now listen, 31:12 I can do a when Jesus list too, but I have a feeling James will not like my when 31:19 Jesus list. So when Jesus defined marriage, he defined it as only between a 31:26 man and a woman. When Jesus talked about gender, he rooted it in biology saying, 31:31 quote, he made them male and female. When Jesus talked about harming children, 31:36 like in the act of abortion, he said it would be better for you to have a 31:40 millstone tied around your neck and be cast into the ocean. What about that time 31:45 Jesus encouraged his followers to buy weapons for self-defense? Here's your 31:49 homework. Go look at Luke 22 36. When Jesus family strictly obeyed the 31:55 government's border migration and census laws in Luke 1 and 2 under 31:58 Caesar Augustus. When Jesus talked about salvation he said belief in him was 32:02 the only way. I am the way the truth in the life. Nobody comes the father 32:05 except through me. He did not say I am a way a truth in a life and some 32:09 Some people come to the Father and also through me. 32:11 He didn't say all religions are equally valid past to God like Talarico does. 32:15 When Jesus healed the sick, like he did this whole thing, when he said when Jesus healed 32:19 the sick he didn't need a deductible, well hey guys, a little news flash, there were 32:24 no insurance companies in AD 30 and Jesus was using miraculous power, he was not 32:29 paying doctors. 32:31 It's like when somebody says when Jesus healed the sick he wouldn't need a deductible, 32:34 that would be like an anti-vaxxer saying Jesus wasn't vaccinated. 32:37 Well, yeah man, there were no vaccinations. 32:40 When Jesus fed the hungry, I'll just point this out, 32:42 he fed the hungry. 32:44 He did not vote for the government 32:46 to forcibly take other people's stuff at gunpoint 32:48 and redistribute it against their will. 32:50 Listen, I could go on and on and on. 32:51 Here's the big idea. 32:52 Jesus Christ is the Lord of the universe. 32:56 He is not a mascot for your cause. 33:00 And I'll just finish with this. 33:01 If Christians do not do our responsibility as salt 33:07 the salt of the earth, salt and light of the earth. What you're going to see is you're going to end up 33:14 with a biblically defined heretic and demonic false teacher leading your state and that is going to 33:20 affect the societal inheritance that you hand your children, grandchildren, and the future 33:25 church in America. So let me just finish saying this and I just want to help, I want to help 33:30 instruct Christians on how do we apply what we know in the public square. There are 9.5 million 33:37 within M, Christians in Texas that are projected to vote, to forget to vote, to 33:42 forget to vote. So 9.5 million Christians in Texas are projected to 33:47 forget to vote in the midterms. That election is projected to be decided 33:51 by 300,000 or less votes. Let me say that one more time just to let the shock 33:57 value land on you. 9.5 million Christians just in the state of Texas by 34:04 I'm a little grok back in the napkin math, 34:06 are projected to forget to vote in the midterms. 34:10 And that election is projected to be decided 34:14 by 300,000 or less votes. 34:18 So we're not gonna just talk about it, 34:20 we're gonna be about it, okay? 34:22 I am encouraging you, and this works in all 50 states, 34:26 to text the word vote to the number 20411. 34:31 We, at our own expense, 34:33 we built a website. We're keeping none of the data on this. But what you're 34:38 gonna do is you're gonna get two things. Number one, if you text that number, you 34:41 are only gonna get two texts from us ever. We're not gonna spam you and light 34:44 you up. You're gonna get a reminder for when the deadline to register to vote 34:50 in the county in which you live is. So you're gonna get that text reminder. 34:54 Number two, you're gonna get a reminder to vote in the midterms when 34:58 midterm voting starts wherever you are. And then number two, you're gonna 35:01 get a link to a website. I'm gonna show a little screenshot of it right here. You're 35:05 gonna get a link to a website that we built that is designed. All you gotta do is you go 35:10 there and it's literally just one thing. You just put in your address, we keep none 35:13 of the data. And it works in all 50 states, all counties in all 50 states. And that 35:19 website will tell you where you can vote in the midterms. It will tell you what 35:25 you need to bring in your state to be able to vote. And again, it works in all 50 states. So 35:32 let's have a little fun with this live free nation. We'll see if we can flip an election, 35:35 it's going to be fun. So that being said, go team Jesus go. I've had a blast. I'm going on vacation. 35:41 Y'all have a great time. Well, hey, thanks so much for listening.
