Born from the creative vision of Romanian-German musician Michael Cretu in 1990, Enigma revolutionized the music scene with its unique blend of new-age and worldbeat sounds. The project's debut album, MCMXC a.D., catapulted Enigma to international success with the chart-topping single Sadeness, which sold an impressive 12 million units worldwide. By shattering traditional musical conventions and embracing mysticism, Enigma's innovative approach paved the way for a new era of artistic expression in the music industry.
