Banjo Bowl Weekend

It is officially Banjo Bowl weekend in Winnipeg, and the energy across the city is hitting a fever pitch! Dave Wheeler and Tyler Carr get fans set for the ultimate prairie grudge match as the Winnipeg Blue Bombers host the Saskatchewan Roughriders at Princess Auto Stadium for a shot at Labour Day redemption. On a reflective note, Dave shares personal memories marking the anniversary of September 11, while the rest of the morning balances heavy sports stakes with off-the-wall banter—including whether the Riders need a brand new team name, the Goldeyes fighting for their playoff lives, an EF-1 tornado confirmed right in River Heights, and Samsung mercilessly trolling Apple's foldable phone debut.
