How Do These Preseason Injuries Reshape Fantasy Draft Strategy for Chase, Henderson, Walker and the Stars Around Them

🔥 Description

Preseason is hitting some of fantasy football's biggest names, and Bloom & Cecil break down what these injuries really mean for your draft board as August heats up.

Ja'Marr Chase appears to have avoided anything major, but even a minor scare can shift late‑August ADP. Does this push drafters toward Tee Higgins or simply reinforce Chase's elite ceiling once he's fully cleared.

In Cincinnati, TreVeyon Henderson is banged up — and if he misses time, what does that mean for Rhamondre Stevenson. Bloom & Cecil dig into workload redistribution, goal‑line usage, and whether Stevenson becomes a sneaky volume riser.

And in Kansas City, Kenneth Walker being slowed down raises a massive question: how much can the Chiefs lean on Patrick Mahomes, especially early in the season as he returns from the knee injury that shortened his 2025 campaign. Does this shift the offensive identity, or does Andy Reid simply ask Mahomes to carry more weight sooner than expected.

These are the injuries that move boards, reshape tiers, and create opportunity — if you know where to look.
