Meet the critically acclaimed singer and songwriter behind some of country music's most innovative hits. This Texas native began her career in the early 2000s with a string of self-released albums and a stint on the USA Network's Nashville Star, where she finished in seventh place in 2007. Her breakthrough came in 2012 with the hit single "Merry Go 'Round," which paved the way for her major-label debut Same Trailer Different Park, a Grammy-winning album that cemented her status as a country music trailblazer.
