Auburn Is WASTING Byrum Brown’s Superpower | Auburn Football Podcast
Auburn Football has a Byrum Brown problem, but it might not be the problem everyone thinks. Brown has thrown an interception in every Power Four game Auburn has played this season. His decision making has been inconsistent. He has missed throws, held the football too long at times and made mistakes that Auburn simply cannot afford in close SEC games. But there is another side to this conversation. Auburn is not consistently maximizing the thing Brown does best. Run the football. Brown has the size, athleticism and physical running ability to become the centerpiece of Auburn’s rushing attack. His legs have already created some of Auburn’s biggest offensive plays this season. Yet too often his running ability feels like something Auburn uses when the original play breaks down instead of something the offense intentionally builds around. Learn more about your ad choices.
