The Family that 'Preyed' Together: Secrets of the Children of God

In this episode of Fringe Beyond Limits the hosts discuss the rise and horrific abuses of the Children of God cult, led by David Berg. They cover his manipulative Mo Letters, the practice of "flirty fishing," the sexualization of children, celebrity ties, raids and legal battles, survivor testimonies, and the movement's attempts to rebrand as The Family International. The conversation mixes dark humor and shock with empathy for survivors, exploring how promises of belonging and prophecy turned into control, abuse, and long-lasting trauma.
