Nascita: 29 aprile 1933 a Abbott

With a career spanning over five decades, this country music icon is a true pioneer of the outlaw country subgenre, emerging in the late 1960s as a response to the restrictive Nashville sound. His groundbreaking albums Shotgun Willie, Red Headed Stranger, and Stardust catapulted him to fame, solidifying his status as a country music legend. Beyond his music, Nelson has made a lasting impact as a versatile actor, author, and advocate for environmental and social causes.
