About
Born: December 3, 1968 in Los Angeles
This chart-topping R&B artist made waves in the mid-90s with his iconic single This Is How We Do It, a catchy anthem that still gets played on airwaves today. As the primary male solo artist on Def Jam's Def Soul imprint, he continued to produce hits like Get It On Tonite and Let's Ride, a high-energy collaboration with Master P and Silkk the Shocker. With a career spanning over two decades, Montell Jordan's music remains a staple of 90s R&B.
