CHURCHES ARE A MESS. Here's what we can do.
The modern church can become a machine that takes a lot of money to keep running—large salaries, mortgages, buildings, maintenance, and even worship music that has become a business of its own. But does this remotely look like the early church? The answer is no. Today we’ll look at why it might be time to get back to our roots. The early Christians met in homes with no overhead. They prayed together, used their spiritual gifts, cared for one another, and shared life together. Maybe going back to the early church model is an option worth considering.
