30 years after she was convicted for drowning her little boys in her car, Susan Smith is asking a South Carolina parole board to free her from prison. Three decades ago at her press conference seen round the world, Smith cried crocodile tears, now people are again accusing her of faking her emotions. It was a private service, attended by friends and family, his One Direction bandmates - and Simon Cowell, who formed the band nearly fifteen years ago. He was in tears.
