About

Born: January 19, 1972 in Alexandri

Born to a family of music industry insiders, this Egyptian singer rose to fame in 1987 under the guidance of her father, Mohammad Suleiman. With her breakout album Leih Sebtaha establishing her as a major force in the Middle East music scene, Angham took control of her image and style following a highly publicized divorce in 2000. A subsequent high-profile feud with a record label president led to her signing with Rotana, further cementing her status as a prominent vocalist.
