SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)... SHOW SUMMARY: In this week’s The Fix Mailbag with PWTorch VIP analyst Todd Martin and host PWTorch editor Wade Keller, they answer emails from VIP members on the following topics: When in history did bad guys in pro wrestling start to get cheered? Did Wade witness it in the AWA in the early 1980s? When people cheer heels, why? Why did Maven get a hard time for coming from “Tough Enough” when Brock Lesnar and Braun Strowman didn’t even if they didn’t come through traditional paths? What are Todd’s most successful turns in pro wrestling he recalls? Would pro wrestling commentary improve with a top level heel commentator? What is the future of JCW without Vince Russo? And what is the future of Russo? Could WWE get away with only doing clean finishes? How would storylines be advanced and feuds not end right away? What are the differences in opinions between Wade and Todd as far as the Attitude Era goes? Thoughts on Georges St. Pierre’s AI fight video against dinosaurs? (LINK) Would Vince McMahon try to cash in on the “Just Sports” ad campaign drama featuring Sydney Sweeney? More on Gable Steveson’s loss What are potential positives and negatives for AEW regarding the Paramount-WBD deal? Is Jordynne Grace being underutilized? Do high-quality matches draw ratings? Is AEW’s “match quality first” presentation self-limiting? Why doesn’t critical praise for high quality PPVs lead to more increases in AEW business?
