Story Transcript:
En: Luca was in his office, surrounded by piles of documents and the monotonous noise of printers.
It: Fuori dalla finestra, gli alberi del viale si preparavano all’autunno, tingendosi di giallo e rosso.
En: Outside the window, the trees along the avenue were preparing for autumn, turning yellow and red.
En: Every fallen leaf seemed like a piece of his life that he wished to change, towards something more colorful and creative: painting.
It: Era l'ora di pranzo.
En: It was lunchtime.
En: Luca looked at the clock and decided to go buy office supplies.
En: He needed pens, notepads, and folders, but also acrylic paints and canvases that he secretly used in his free time.
En: He took a deep breath and, very cautiously, went to his boss.
En: "I'm going to meet a client for lunch," Luca lied, hoping his boss wouldn't suspect anything.
It: Nel corridoio incrociò Marco e Giulia, i suoi colleghi.
En: In the hallway, he ran into Marco and Giulia, his colleagues.
It: Giulia lo salutò con un sorriso.
En: Giulia greeted him with a smile.
It: "Pranzo con un cliente, eh?
En: "Lunch with a client, huh?
It: Buona fortuna," disse senza malizia.
En: Good luck," she said without malice.
It: Luca annuì, un po' teso.
En: He left the building and quickly headed to the supply store.
En: Once he arrived, he noticed that the inside was much more crowded than usual.
En: It was difficult to move between the shelves packed with people, all intent on finding what they needed for work.
En: He made his way through the crowd, gathering everything he needed.
En: As he paid at the register, his heart began to beat faster.
En: He needed to return to the office soon, if he didn't want his boss to start suspecting.
It: Sulla via d'uscita, il destino giocò uno scherzo a Luca.
En: On the way out, fate played a trick on Luca.
En: He almost ran into his boss, who was entering the same store.
It: Luca sorrise, cercando di mantenere la calma.
En: Luca smiled, trying to stay...
