In the vibrant music scene of 1980s Los Angeles, a new wave/synth-pop sensation emerged, captivating audiences with infectious hits like The Metro, Sex, and Take My Breath Away, the latter of which won a coveted Academy Award for Best Original Song. This iconic band's chart-topping success was short-lived, as they disbanded soon after reaching global stardom.
