FLAVOR TEXT: Maximum Ride

Did you know that human beings share 90% of their DNA with chimpanzees? What would happen if you grafted a human with 2% avian DNA? The Maximum Rides series would imply that those people would have functional wings. And psychic powers.

Maximum Ride is NYTs bestselling-est author James Patterson's entry into the YA market (or one of his co-authors' entry). We explore the series and it's hero,human/bird hybrid Max Ride. She and her five siblings are escapees of The School, a top secret research lab that specializes in whatever field produces human/bird hybrids.
