My parents used to say, "You've made your bed now lie in it." They never said, "God made your bed." A river makes its own bed. There are multitudes of seasons when no matter how sturdy it might seem, the dirt covered banks give way to flow. As humans we tend to run away because of the steps required, the stumbles and unperfected destinations. Are we shaped by weak dirt covered banks facing change, challenge and ample amounts of defeat?
