Say Hello to My Little Film: Episode 114 - Beautiful Boy

After their controversial last episode, Ray and Rob are back with what could turn out to be a revenge story. Ray pushes Rob's emotional buttons by recommending the 2018 family drama BEAUTIFUL BOY. This story about the ravages of addiction stars Steve Carell (The Office, Despicable Me) as a father who desperately tries to find a way to put his life back together after his son, Timothee Chalamet (Dune, Bones and All), spirals out of control in the clutches of drugs. Taking place over a number of years, Beautiful Boy chronicles the ups and downs, the love and hate, and the struggles with trust on the road the redemption.

Will the emotional depths of this family drama pull on Rob's heartstrings? Or will Steve Carell's comedic background keep him from being able to take this film seriously? Tune in this week to find out!
