About

From: United States

Hailing from Chicago, this influential American rock band emerged in 1994 as a result of a pivotal split from alternative country group Uncle Tupelo, with singer Jeff Tweedy and bassist John Stirratt being the only constants amidst a decade of lineup changes. Since 2004, the band has been a tight-knit unit of six musicians, including Tweedy, Stirratt, Nels Cline, Pat Sansone, Mikael Jorgensen, and Glenn Kotche. With a prolific discography boasting thirteen studio albums, a live double album, and four collaborations, this critically-acclaimed group continues to push the boundaries of rock music.
