About

Born: January 1, 1977 in United States

Get ready to groove with one of the most iconic disco acts of all time, formed by French producers Jacques Morali and Henri Belolo along with lead singer Victor Willis in the early days of the genre. This colorful collective, inspired by Manhattan's vibrant Greenwich Village, brought to life a cast of charismatic characters that embodied a playful take on American masculinity and macho gay-fantasy personas. With a legacy spanning decades, Village People continues to captivate audiences with their catchy tunes and over-the-top performances.
