About

Born: February 1, 1964 in United Kingdom

Hailing from London in 1964, this iconic English rock band revolutionized the music scene with their explosive sound and innovative style, thanks in part to the iconic guitar work of Pete Townshend, the thunderous bass lines of John Entwistle, and the wild drumming of Keith Moon. Alongside lead vocalist Roger Daltrey, they crafted a sonic legacy that would go on to influence generations of hard rock, punk, power pop, and mod bands. Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990, theirsurnameless impact on rock music remains unparalleled.
