About
Born: February 14, 1977 in United States
Hailing from the Motor City in 1977, this influential American rock band seamlessly blended power pop and new wave sounds, drawing inspiration from a rich musical heritage that spans 1950s rock and roll, Detroit's iconic MC5 and Stooges, and the Motown R&B legacy. Their eclectic style was also shaped by the garage rock of 1960s North America and the British Invasion's enduring impact. This unique fusion of influences helped shape the sound of a generation.
