About
Born: January 1, 1988 in United Kingdom
Formed in 1988 by visionary producers Alex Paterson and Jimmy Cauty, this influential electronic music collective has been shaping the UK's ambient house scene for decades. With their groundbreaking sound, they've cultivated a devoted following among clubbers seeking a sonic escape from the highs and lows of the dance floor experience. Their pioneering debut album, The Orb's Adventures Beyond the Ultraworld, remains a landmark of the genre, while their chart-topping follow-up U.F.Orb solidified their status as electronic music icons.
