About
Formed in the spring of 1970, this influential blues rock band was brought together by a talented group of musicians who had previously played together in Delaney & Bonnie and Friends. Featuring the iconic voice and guitar work of Eric Clapton, along with keyboardist Bobby Whitlock, bassist Carl Radle, and drummer Jim Gordon, the band's unique sound was shaped by their individual talents and experiences. Despite the passing of several original members, Clapton remains the last surviving member of this iconic group.
