About
Born: January 1, 1984 in United States Died: January 1, 2017
Formed in Seattle in 1984, this iconic rock band brought together talented musicians Chris Cornell, Kim Thayil, and Hiro Yamamoto, who would go on to shape the city's thriving music scene. Over the years, the lineup evolved with the addition of Scott Sundquist and later Matt Cameron on drums, and Ben Shepherd on bass, helping to propel the band to new heights before disbanding and reforming multiple times. Following the tragic loss of Chris Cornell in 2017, the remaining members ultimately decided to disband once more, leaving behind a legacy of unforgettable music.
