From: United States
Formed in 1981 in Huntington Park, California, this influential thrash metal band has been a driving force in the genre for over four decades. With a lineup that has evolved over the years, the current iteration features guitarists Kerry King and Gary Holt, vocalist/bassist Tom Araya, and drummer Paul Bostaph, continuing the band's legacy of aggressive and fast-paced music. As one of the pioneering "big four" bands of thrash metal, alongside Metallica, Megadeth, and Anthrax, their impact on the metal scene remains unparalleled.
