Nu Look

About

Born from the fusion of heavy metal and hip-hop, funk, industrial, and grunge, this genre defies traditional metal conventions with its emphasis on rhythm and syncopated instrumentation. Characterized by the use of seven-string guitars and often featuring a mix of singing, rapping, screaming, and growling vocals, nu metal's sound is heavy, aggressive, and unapologetic. Emerging as a key player in the new wave of American heavy metal, this genre continues to push the boundaries of what metal music can be.
