About
Behind the scenes of some of the most iconic recordings of the 1960s and 1970s, a group of talented session musicians in Los Angeles played a pivotal role in shaping the sound of popular music. Known as the Mountain Crew, albeit unofficially, this collective of musicians brought their skills to hundreds of top 40 hits, often without receiving the recognition they deserved. Their legacy as the backbone of the music industry's most memorable moments continues to be celebrated by music enthusiasts and industry professionals alike.
