About
From: United Kingdom
Formed in London in 1975 by the iconic bassist and lead vocalist Lemmy Kilmister, guitarist Larry Wallis and drummer Lucas Fox, this influential rock band went on to shape the sound of heavy metal with their high-energy sound and unapologetic attitude. Known for their dynamic lineup changes, Motörhead's most iconic era featured the unstoppable drumming of Phil "Philthy Animal" Taylor and the scorching guitar riffs of "Fast" Eddie Clarke. With Lemmy at the helm, the band continued to rock on with guitarist Phil Campbell and drummer Mikkey Dee until their final farewell in 2015.
