About
At the forefront of 1980s rock music was a provocative Canadian band centered around the enigmatic Carole Pope, whose bold stage presence and unapologetic lyrics captured the attention of audiences worldwide. Alongside multi-talented musician Kevan Staples, the band Rough Trade pushed boundaries with their unflinching lyrics and daring performances, including the iconic hit "High School Confidential." This trailblazing group's impact can still be felt today, paving the way for future generations of artists.
