About

In the vibrant music scene of 1980s Los Angeles, a trailblazing girl group emerged, formed by the iconic Rick James in 1981. Featuring a dynamic lineup of JoJo McDuffie, Cheri Wells, Candice Ghant, and Kimberly Wuletich, this quartet would go on to captivate audiences with their provocative on-stage presence and chart-topping dance hits like "Candy Man" and "All Night Long". Their debut album, released on Motown's Gordy Records in 1983, solidified their place in music history.
