From: Chicago
In the vibrant music scene of Los Angeles, a unique sound is born from the collaboration of guitarist Zac Sokolow, bassist Jake Faulkner, and percussionist Nicholas Baker. This trio of musicians, known as Los Cougars, began experimenting with a blend of distinct genres at the iconic Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, combining the infectious rhythms of cumbia and Peruvian chicha. Their innovative fusion of styles has been making waves in the music industry.
