About
"La Camisa Negra" is a song by Colombian singer-songwriter Juanes, co-written with fellow Colombian musician Octavio Mesa and recorded for Juanes's third studio album, Mi Sangre (2004). Produced by Juanes and Gustavo Santaolalla, it blends Spanish-language rock and Latin pop with the folk-influenced popular music of Antioquia, and its lyrics, which carry a double meaning, describe the bitter end of a love affair. It was issued as the album's third single in Latin America in 2005, and in Europe it was promoted as the album's lead single.
