About
Born: January 1, 1990 in United States
Hailing from Charlotte, North Carolina, this R&B quartet was formed in 1988 by DeVanté Swing and JoJo, who later brought their brothers Mr. Dalvin and K-Ci into the fold. Their debut album, Forever My Lady, released in 1991, catapulted them to mainstream success with three consecutive Billboard R&B No. 1 hits, including the iconic singles Stay, Come and Talk to Me, and the album's title track. This soulful quartet's music would go on to dominate the airwaves in the early 1990s.
