About
Born: January 1, 1992 in United States
This influential hip hop trio, formed in the 1980s as Tranzlator Crew, rose to fame in the 1990s with a unique blend of rap and R&B. Comprised of rapper/singer Lauryn Hill and rappers Pras Michel and Wyclef Jean, the group brought a fresh sound to the music scene before disbanding. With their name inspired by the term refugees and a nod to their Haitian heritage, they left a lasting impact on the music industry.
