Friends

About

This Swedish pop sensation burst onto the scene in 1999, formed from auditions on the reality TV show Friends på turne, and quickly rose to fame after competing on Melodifestivalen 2000, finishing in second place. Their winning streak continued in 2001, when they took home the top prize with the catchy tune Lyssna till ditt hjärta, and went on to represent Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest. Their success was however marred by controversy, as they were forced to pay royalties for allegedly plagiarizing a 1996 Belgian entry.
