Hailing from Buenos Aires, this influential Argentine rock band was formed in 1982 by a trio of visionary musicians, including the charismatic singer-guitarist Gustavo Cerati, bassist Zeta Bosio, and drummer Charly Alberti. With seven studio albums under their belt, they left an indelible mark on the music scene before disbanding in 1997, cementing their status as the best-selling Argentine band of all time with a staggering seven million records sold by 2007.
