About
From: United States
This talented American R&B group was formed in 1987 by brothers Melvin and Kevon Edmonds, along with their friend Keith Mitchell. Their platinum-selling debut in 1989 spawned three chart-topping singles, including R&B hits "Ready or Not" and "Can't Stop," which also cracked the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100. With a successful career spanning over two decades, After 7's legacy endures, with the group even briefly reuniting with Melvin Edmonds' son Jason taking his father's place.
