Finn Russell: From Stonemasonry to Lions Player Of The Series - How he became a legend of Scottish Rugby | Inner Drive

Finn Russell joins Eoin Sheahan for our latest episode of Inner Drive, for a wide-ranging chat on the journey from Bridge of Allan to the very top of world rugby.

Finn reflects on growing up playing every sport going, breaking through as a “late developer”, and balancing rugby with a stonemasonry apprenticeship before the pro dream properly took off.

He opens up on New Zealand’s influence, the Lions rollercoaster from “Geography 6” to Player of the Series, and the much-talked-about mending of bridges with Gregor Townsend.

He also opens up about what Scotland need to do to win something big.
