En: In the autumn at Zijincheng, the golden maple leaves rustled in the breeze.
En: Everything was filled with a festive atmosphere, and the scent of Zhongqiujie filled the air along with the aroma of mooncakes.
En: Meiling, Jian, and Wei stood beneath the tall city walls, their eyes glimmering with anticipation and slight doubt.
En: Meiling had always heard that behind the thick red walls of Zijincheng, there was an exceedingly precious antique artifact hidden.
En: Now, there were rumors that if one could find it, a long-lost secret would be revealed.
En: Thus, Meiling was determined to uncover this mystery and protect the national treasure from falling into the wrong hands.
En: Jian was Meiling's good friend, well-versed in historical relics and always with a plethora of stories to share.
En: However, Meiling couldn't help but wonder if he joined the adventure merely to gain fame in the academic world.
En: On the other hand, Wei, a new guide who claimed to be an expert on Zijincheng, was someone whose background nobody could verify.
En: Meiling was skeptical about his motives.
En: As night fell, the moon's glow spilled over the eaves of Zijincheng.
En: Meiling followed Jian and Wei through courtyard after courtyard, searching for clues about the relic.
En: Wei skillfully guided them, seemingly familiar with every hidden path.
En: Yet, an uneasy feeling slowly arose within Meiling.
En: She wasn't sure whom to trust.
En: "Up ahead is the treasure site," Wei whispered, a mysterious gleam flashing in his eyes.
En: "Be careful."
En: Finally, they reached a long-sealed room.
En: With slightly trembling hands, Meiling pushed open the door, and a cold wind swiftly brushed her face.
En: In the center of the room, an ancient box quietly sat, appearing to have been dust-sealed for a long time.
En: "Let me have a look," Jian stepped forward, his gaze firm.
En: Meanwhile, Wei, behind him, subtly moved his tightly gripped fingers, seeming to wait for an opportunity.
En: "Wait!" Meiling suddenly exclaimed, stepping in front of the box.
En: "We want to protect this artifact and not let it fall into the wrong hands."
En: The atmosphere grew tense, as Jian and Wei exchanged glances, their intentions now evident.
En: Wei sought to claim the box for himself, while Jian was more in search of glory.
En: From the silence, Meiling knew this was a test of her...
