This iconic Canadian rock band was formed in Toronto in 1968 with a power trio sound that would come to define their legendary career. After a few line-up changes, the classic trio of Alex Lifeson on guitar, Geddy Lee on bass and vocals, and Neil Peart on drums came together in 1974, remaining intact until Peart's retirement in 2015. With a distinctive sound and virtuosic musicianship, the band left an indelible mark on rock music before disbanding following Peart's passing in 2020.
