He is co-editor of the Journal of Palestine Studies and has served as President of the Middle East Studies Association. He has written or co-edited several books, including The Hundred Years' War on Palestine: A History of Settler-Colonialism and Resistance, 1917-2017, which has been the Sunday Times and New York Times bestseller, and Palestinian Identity: The .Construction of Modern National Consciousness.
