This Jamaican-born singer's groundbreaking single "Kung Fu Fighting" catapulted him to international fame in 1974, topping the US Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and cementing his place in music history. With three studio albums under his belt, including the chart-topping Kung Fu Fighting and Other Great Love Songs, this British-Jamaican artist has left an indelible mark on the music landscape. His influence can still be felt today, with his songs being covered and sampled by a new generation of artists including Jack Black, CeeLo Green, Kanye West, and Nas.
