Craig Symonds is the author of the book, Neptune: The Allied Invasion of Europe and the D-Day Landings . Craig is a Professor of History at the US Naval Academy. I want to learn from Craig about how US and British military planners conceived of the D-Day invasion, what equipment was required for this amphibious attack, and what the challenges were there against such a formidable foe.
